Dignity. Equality. Privacy. Freedom from violence. Empowerment. If you are committed to one or more of these, then this option is definitely for you.

You will have the opportunity to explore the exciting, often controversial growth of international human rights law and practice as applied to gender and sexuality. You will learn about all of the key instruments in these areas, including the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

You will discuss topics that are deeply challenging and fundamentally important, including gender-based violence, reproductive and sexual health, and the relationships between international and national systems. And you will do all of this under the guidance of  a teaching team that has multi-sector expertise – including work in the field and with international bodies and NGOs, as well as experience as teachers and trainers for diverse audiences in the UK and abroad, and a track record of important publications.
