Class of 2006/07
Before I came to study at Nottingham, I was working as a human rights officer for the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Nepal.
I chose Nottingham because of the possibility to tailor one’s LLM and combine a variety of modules ranging from criminal law to human rights. The course allowed me to gain a more legal background and widen my theoretical knowledge. I am currently working for the ICRC in West Africa and feel I can refer back to what I learnt 3 years ago to help me carry out my work adequately.
I would recommend studying law at Nottingham, for it can suit every student’s wishes and interests, and offer a wide range of opportunities for engaging students in research, internships and seminars.
