Higher Education Academy:- Ethics Specialist Interest Group
Work on the Higher Education Academy's restructure and re-focus continues. Further to the announcements made in November and January, there is now a paper giving further details of the academic support and services the HEA will provide to institutions and individuals from 2011-12.
The work will be characterised by both continuity of provision (e.g. in relation to subject support) and taking forward existing areas of excellence, as well as the development of new areas of work. The HEA's profile of work will be both dynamic and responsive to sector needs and will be organised under three headings:

Institutional Strategy and Change
This work will affect the functioning of Special Interest Groups in the previous subject centres. At the last Ethics Specialist Subject Group for Health Sciences LEIGHS offered to host a link for the national Ethics Specilaist Interest Group in health and social care.
