Dragon Naturally Speaking

What is it and what does it do?

Dragon Naturally Speaking is a brand of voice recognition software. You speak to the computer and it follows your commands allowing you to navigate the screen without the use of a mouse. Dragon can be used by anyone who would prefer to say their ideas as opposed to type them.

Licensing

Dragon is available in the Assistive Technology Room (ATR) in:

Students wishing to use this room have to be eligible for the Enhanced Library Support Service and referred by Academic or Disability Support.

Disabled students who wish to have their own copy of Dragon should contact Academic or Disability Support in the first instance.
