Kurzweil 3000

What is it and what does it do?

Kurzweil 3000 is reading, writing and learning software for anybody who has difficulties with reading, including individuals with learning difficulties, dyslexia, attention deficit disorder or those who are English Language Learners.

Licensing

Kurzweil 3000 is available in the Assistive Technology Room (ATR) in:

Students wishing to use this room have to be eligible for the Enhanced Library Support Service and referred by Academic or Disability Support.

Disabled students who wish to have their own copy of Kurzweil 3000 should contact Academic or Disability Support in the first instance.

Support information including instructional videos and user guides can be found on the Kurzweil Educational Systems' website.

Help

Support is available from local library staff.
