Intermittent problems logging into Lexis Library


There is currently an intermittent issue when attempting to login to Lexis Library.

If you see an error message saying "Error contacting your identity provider" please try to use the back button on your browser and retry the link.

If that fails you should try clearing the cookies and cache from your browser (instructions below).

Instructions for clearing Cookies and Cache

Clearing cookies in Internet Explorer:
1. Select the Tools menu from the Internet Explorer window, and click ‘Internet Options’
2. Click ‘Delete’ under the Browsing History section
3. In the Delete Browsing History window, check the box next to Cookies. You can uncheck everything else.
4. Click ‘Delete’ to remove all cookies stored in Internet Explorer.
5. Close and restart Internet Explorer.

Clearing cookies in Chrome:
1. Go to ‘Settings’ from the menu in the top right corner
2. Click ‘Advanced’
3. Click ‘Clear browsing data’
4. Tick the check box next to ‘Cookies and other site data’
5. Click 'Clear Browsing Data'
6. Close and restart

Clearing cookies in Firefox:
1. Go to ‘Options’ from the menu in the top right corner
2. Click ‘Privacy & Security’
3. Click ‘clear your recent history’
4. Make sure ‘Cookies and Cache’ are ticked under the details option
5. Click ‘Clear Now’
6. Close and restart
