The MEU is ISO 9001:2008 certified

ISO 9000 is a generic name given to the family of standards around which a Quality Management System can be implemented.

The standard was revised in 2008, now known as ISO 9001:2008, and was developed using a core set of eight quality management principles which act as a common foundation for all standards relating to quality management:

  • involvement of people
  • process approach
  • system approach to management
  • continual improvement
  • factual approach to decision making
  • mutually beneficial supplier relationship

What does ISO 9001:2008 mean to MEU’s customers?

The customer has the assurance that the product is manufactured in a controlled environment which meets standards that are internationally recognised. Where the emphasis is on customer satisfaction and continual improvement through reviewing Key Performance Indicators.
