A Century of Service

The School of Biomedical Sciences would like to thank Dave Griffin, Stuart Whittaker and Deb Briggs for their service to this School and the University of Nottingham.  Together they have chalked up 105 years of service!

Their outstanding achievement was recognised by the University at a special Long Service Awards Ceremony and Dinner on the 15th December 2009 when Dave, Stuart and Deb received their awards from the Vice-Chancellor.

Stuart Whittaker and Dave Griffin have both worked in the School of 40 years, starting in 1969.  Deb has worked here for 25 years.

Professor Steve Hill, Head of School, said "I am delighted that Dave, Stuart and Deb have enjoyed working for us as long as they have.  They have all made very significant contributions to the work of the School and I applaud their dedication and commitment."
