Postgraduate Taught Courses

MSc student working in a laboratoryOur School has an extensive range of high-quality taught Masters’ programmes, covering a range of specialist courses ‘from molecules to man’. We currently offer courses in Molecular Medical Microbiology, Microbiology and Immunology, Clinical Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics, Modernising Scientific Careers, Biological Photography and Integrative Human Physiology.  We also offer distance-learning courses in Infection Science and Clinical Genetics as part of the NHS Modernising Scientific Careers training programme. In partnership with the School of Pharmacy, we are also introducing an innovative degree in Drug Discovery.

Each of our courses is designed to provide high-level teaching with a significant research element, leading to a substantive original research project.
