Prospective students

Our postgraduate community is a central and vibrant part of the Institute. We offer exciting and internationally recognised masters and  PhD programmes, attracting students from all over the world and a wide variety of backgrounds in applied sciences, community health, social sciences and the humanities.

The MA Learning, Technology and Education teaches new ideas in Education, Psychology, and Computer Science. The course shows the creative ways in which new technology can support teaching and learning practice and is an excellent preparation for a wide range of careers or undertaking further research on this important and expanding topic.

Many of our Masters students go on to study with us for a PhD. All of our academic staff are actively interested in supervising research students and available to discuss potential projects. The PhD programme draws on expertise from different subject disciplines and Schools across the University including Computer Science, Education, English, GeographyNursing and Psychology.
