Finding Us
The Methods and Data Institute is in West Wing of the Law and Social Sciences Building in University Park Campus. The Law and Social Sciences Building is number 7 on the campus map .
Access to the West Wing is by key card only. Visitors should use the phone pad next to the entrance to dial the extension number of the person they are seeing (there is a list of numbers on a board above the pad).
Directions to the University Park Campus:
From Nottingham (approximately 3 miles)
By Bus : From Broadmarsh bus station (about 250 metres walk from the railway station), catch one of the following Trent and Barton buses:

The Nottingham City Transport Unilink service (34) also runs from the Broadmarsh Centre via Angel Row, Derby Road and QMC and stops at various points on the campus.
Other Nottingham City Transport services also pass near or through the campus and can be picked up from stops near the Market Square in the City Centre. The location in brackets pin points where they stop near the University.

The 52 does not go from the City Centre but does pass through Clifton, QMC, University and then Beeston. More information is available on the Nottingham City Transport website .
By Taxi: There are taxi ranks throughout the City Centre and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes about 15 minutes.
From Beeston (approximately 1.5 miles)
The Rainbow 5 Trent Barton service runs from Beeston Bus Station (about 10 minutes walk from the railway station along Station Road) past the South and North entrances to the University, as well as passing QMC. Nottingham City Transport service 13 has a stop in Queen's Road, about 5 minutes walk from the Beeston railway station, turning right out of Station Road.
From East Midlands Airport (approximately 10 miles)
From East Midlands Airport you can take Trent and Barton Bus 5b, or the Nottingham City Bus Runway 5. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall.
You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.
From M1 Motorway
Leave the M1 at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Turn right at the Priory Roundabout.
From M1 Motorway: Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Turn right at The Priory roundabout (about 4 miles from M1), then left at next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance.
