School of Medicine Education Centre

The Education Centre works closely with educationalists across the Schools of Medicine and Life Sciences, and with clinical staff in all our associated NHS hospitals and general practices.

What we do

Professor Gill Doody, Dean of Medical Education:

The University of Nottingham School of Medicine has over 1700 undergraduate students and more than 350 taught postgraduate students.

Medical education is delivered by teachers based in the School of Medicine, the School of Life Sciences and in teaching hospitals and general practices across the East Midlands.

The School of Medicine Education Centre leads on the management and development of our taught programmes and is responsible for the organisation and delivery of education within the school.
