Biography

I hold a B.A (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Leeds, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, awarded with Distinction and the School of Psychology prize for academic achievement. I am studying for a PHD in the area of adolescent mental health and received an ESRC-funded award to complete my thesis through the +4 Mental Health and Wellbeing pathway. As part of this I have completed a Masters by research. Before starting my PhD I worked for over a decade as an Editor within education, disability and health publishing sectors. More recently I spent 2 years as a Researcher at the Institute of Mental Health on a multi-site randomised controlled trial comparing parenting interventions for children with pre-school ADHD.

Research Summary
