Biography

Patricia has worked in the School of Medicine, Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing since Oct 2013 as project manager and assistant to Dr Kate Radford on various research and divisional projects. She is also the current administrator for Health Education England Silver Scholar Awards being run by the Division, School of Medicine Grant Writing programme and CDT RHR Administrator. Over the last 4 years she has worked on many research projects including a 3 year NIHR HTA project worth £500,000. She currently has an impact role within the Division and working on REF outputs. Patricia is also the Central Secretariat of the Society for Research in Rehabilitation since 2006. The SRR is the major multidisciplinary rehabilitation research society in the UK established in 1978 and coming up to its 40th Anniversary. Its aim is to advance education and research into all aspects of the rehabilitation of people with disability and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the public benefit. The Society aims to be inspiring and educational, whilst providing excellent opportunities for networking, for junior and established researchers. The SRR runs up to two conferences a year, with topic specific research symposia, free scientific presentations and 'research in progress' posters. Visit www.srr.org.uk for more information.
