Biography

I joined the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre as a Research Fellow in 2006 following completion of my PhD at the University of Cambridge. Two years ago I was promoted to Senior Research Fellow.

Current Research

My research involves the investigation of the paediatric brain tumour ependymoma. We are using biological profiling to develop a detailed understanding of the underlying biology of ependymoma to identify novel targets for therapy which we then take forward for pre-clinical analysis. Current targets we are investigating include the PI3K signalling pathway and epigenetic modifiers.
