Biography

Currently in receipt of an NIHR clinical progression fellowship award Rachel is working part-time towards a PhD in Primary Care patient safety. Rachel works as a salaried GP in Coventry 50% and is therefore best contacted by email. Formerly an academic clinical fellow on the Nottingham GP training scheme she is now a member of staff at the university. Her PhD focuses on discharge summary communication from hospitals to primary care from a primary care perspective.

No current teaching role but previously involved with clinical teaching for medical students and small group seminars for the CPD theme.
