Research

The work of the Medical Research Council Institute of Hearing Research (MRC IHR) is devoted to interdisciplinary experimental research on hearing impairment, underpinned by basic science into the brain mechanisms of hearing. MRC IHR's research covers the full dimension of auditory science, from fundamental neuroanatomy to the subjective benefit from a hearing aid.
