The Microanalysis Research Facility (MRF), established in 2005, offers state of the art microanalytical services, with particular expertise in compositional and microstructural analysis. The facility has recently increased its microanalytical capabilities with the acquisition of a JEOL JXA-8200 electron microprobe.

MRF is directed by Professor Julian Henderson and managed by Dr Eddy Faber.
