Undergraduate Open Days

Time: 9.30am - 4.00pm

Choosing where to study for the next few years of your life is a difficult decision. But you’ve probably read a million university profiles, and all this information could be confusing you even more – which is why we would like to invite you to one of our unique University-wide open days – so you can see for yourself why Nottingham could be the place for you. You can tour our award-winning campuses, meet staff and current students, find out about the courses you are interested in, see what support is on offer, and even join us for a barbeque in the sun (hopefully), giving you a taste of student life. Postgraduate Open Day – 26 November 2010, 2-4pm

Our open day is a great way to find out more about our inspiring range of postgraduate opportunities. Its also an opportunity to explore our fabulous campuses and discover the superb facilities and resources we provide. 

You're warmly invited to our next PG Open Day on 26 November 2010 in Ensdsleigh Room, Department of Music. See below for the programme:

Welcome and Introduction

• 2.00pm – Introduction to Postgraduate Courses in Music
• 2.20pm – Sources of Funding for Postgraduates

A selection of papers from current postgraduates

• 2.30pm – James Cook (First Year MPhil/PhD)
• 2.50pm – Alex Kolassa (First Year AMusD)
• 3.10pm – Katherine Williams (Final Year PhD)
• 3.30pm – Coffee, cakes, and a chance to meet informally with staff and current students
