Biography

Following studies as a pianist, He graduated in "Liberal arts - Music and Performing Arts - Music" from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome. He is working towards a PhD in the United Kingdom at the University of Nottingham, in Music Theory, Analysis and Opera.

His studies include Opera analysis, the history of Italian music theory from 18th to 19th century, analysis and performances. The training of Opera Composers in late 19th century. Reconstruction of the music education theory through its primary sources and opera analysis.

He is currently writing about opera composers such as Giuseppe Verdi and Alfredo Catalani, Francesco Cilea, Umberto Giordano.
