The National Centre for Industrial Microwave Processing

Our staff are undertaking cutting edge research in the area of industrial microwave technologies, and we aim to provide a development interface between corporate clients, global blue chip companies and leading academics. Our centre was established by the University of Nottingham, in conjunction with the HPRF Faraday Partnership.

Microwave technologies allow the creation of new market opportunities and lead to the development of sustainable energy efficient products, processes and services. The University is internationally leading in this field, evidenced by the award of significant research funding from global industry. Over the last three years microwave processing research at Nottingham has generated over £2.5 million of research income from sponsors including global blue-chip companies and World governments.
