NCMH final year PhD student Yanling (Chris) Lu was joint winner of the prestigious poster prize at the bioProcess UK meeting in Edinburgh, 29-30 November 2006 for her poster "Stability of monoclonal antibody solutions by analytical ultracentrifugation". The work was part of a successful collaboration with Cambridge Antibody Limited.

Yanling, along with Abhey and Kate will be guests of bioProcessUK at the BIA Gala Dinner in January , a prize worth approximately £600.
Yanling has been supported by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
