| The Nottingham Institute of Neuroscience
was established in January 2003 with the object of promoting and
developing the University of Nottingham’s established strengths
in fundamental and clinical neuroscience. The Institute brings together
over 100 scientists drawn mainly from Schools of Biology, Biomedical
Sciences, Biosciences, Community Health Sciences (Psychiatry), Computer
Science & IT, Human Development, Mathematical Sciences, Clinical Sciences (Radiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Stroke Medicine),
MRC Institute of Hearing Research, Nursing, Pathology, Pharmaceutical
Sciences, Physics & Astronomy (Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic
Resonance Centre), Psychology and Veterinary Medicine and Science.
