DDA Policy

Disability Policy

NH responded pro-actively to the new disability legislation by implementing its responsibilities under the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act, part 3 Goods, Services and Facilities and the new part 4, Special Educational Needs, and its phased legislative deadlines.

Disability has been addressed through intensive staff training, improving the physical estate, producing resources, developing policies and procedures for the allocation of accommodation for students with disabilities, measuring of the third party provision, and offering support to all client user groups of the NH facilities and services.
