About the Nottingham Institute for Research in Visual Culture
The About the Nottingham Institute for Research in Visual Culture (NIRVC) was established in collaboration with the Djanogly Art Gallery, the Institute of Film Studies, and the Postgraduate School of Critical Theory and Cultural Studies. The Institute's activities primarily reflect the variety of research emanating from members of the Department of Art History, and their links to other institutions, researchers, and research networks.
NIRVC's nature is best expressed by reference to the conferences, seminars and symposia that have been and continue to be organised. Proposals for conferences etc. are welcome and should be directed to NIRVC's co-ordinator Richard Wrigley.
