Biography

Jan is a registered adult and children's nurse and has worked at the University since 2003. Her teaching expertise is in supporting learning and assessment in practice.

Jan is currently curriculum co-ordinator for the development of the new pre registration curricula for nurse education due to be validated in May 2012 with course starting in September 2012.

Jan is a part time doctoral student in the School of Education. Her thesis will explore mentor perceptions of the introduction of the ongoing assessment record in nurse education.
