Associate Professor in Practice Learning, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
I qualified as a nurse in 1975 and worked in a variety of acute and rehabilitation settings before working as a clinical teacher and subsequently joining the University of Nottingham as a lecturer and then as an associate professor.
My expertise is focused on practice learning including mentor support, student support and the teaching of clinical skills. I also chair the national Practice Learning Partnership Group which meets three times a year in London.
Teaching on the Diploma/BSc in nursing.

Leader of practice learning for the Division of Nursing and the Practice Learning Committee for the division. Ensuring that the NMC requirements for practice learning are met and continue to develop practice learning expertise in the school.
