Funding Success for PhD Student

In November 2011, Ping Guo, a final year PhD student, was successful in obtaining £2,500 funding from the Great Britain-China Education Trust (GBCET) to support her doctoral studies.

This award is being granted on behalf of the Han Suyin Trust and demonstrates tremendous recognition of Ping’s work. Ping’s research is examining the effect of pre-operative information giving on outcomes for cardiac surgery patients in China.
