A discussion list for SONET members was set up in November 2007. The initial purpose of the list was to make it easier for the SONET organiser and SONET members to post announcements to the group, and to enable members to subscribe/unsubscribe themselves at will. To make things easier for members to read list messages at their leisure, all message subjects will be prefixed with [SONET] so that they can be filtered into a folder for later reading..
Anyone can apply to subscribe to the list by going to the URL above. Subscription requests are vetted to weed out spammers. List membership data and list archives are only available to members logged into the system with their personal list password.
