A user-friendly guide to using the university's video streaming service video.nottingham has been added to the SONET site. I'm increasingly frequently being asked about putting videos online, and in my experience very few colleagues have heard of video.nottingham, and those that have are unsure as to how to use it.
This guide tries to bring together not just information on the service, but also the things you need to know to use it, such as video formats, what podcasts are, and of course the feared issue of copyright. The guide doesn't supplant existing information, such as the School's Copyright Guidelines and the IS Video and Podcasting help, but rather tries to bring all the information 'under one roof' for convenience.
