Glossary
- probability: the chance of a particular event occurring
- inferential statistics: refers to calculations used to see if there is a difference or a similarity between different sets of data
- type 1 error: this occurs when a difference is found when one should not exist
- type 2 error: this occurs when no difference is found when one should exist
