I have been working in the Operations Management division at Nottingham University Business School since February 2007, when the Design Scoreboard project commenced. I have recently been awarded funding to investigate design spending and how it can be measured in large, complex organisations.

In my spare time, I am currently doing a PhD on the role of design in servitization. I am interested in how the transition from selling ownership of goods, to providing access to services, through these goods, creates different requirements for design and designers.

I am a member of the University of Nottingham Handball Club and am to blame for the appaling state of the website (www.handballclub.co.uk). I also enjoy playing football with my NUBS colleagues. If you wish to join us on Tuesday evenings, for a 'friendly' five-a-side game, please email me!
