Student Recognition Awards
The University of Nottingham likes to recognise students who excel, not only in their studies but also in a wider variety of ways.
Alongside academic awards the Division of Nursing recognises other students who go that extra mile in the practice placement areas and also in areas that leave a lasting effect on their fellow students or profession.
Prizes are awarded at selected times during the term of the course and nominations are welcomed from a variety of sources that encompasses input from mentors, staff, students, and the wider community. Nominations are judged and prizes awarded by a panel which may include lecturers, administrative staff, service users & carers and student representatives.
The University identifies that these prizes are an excellent opportunity for our students to engage in activities and projects that significantly improve their own expertise, but also benefit their peers and profession.
