As the importance of technology and media in the delivery of healthcare education and delivery intensifies there is a growing need to provide excellent online educational materials and products based on sound pedagogy and research. C2HEAR was developed by researchers and clinicians at the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Nottingham Hearing Biomedical Research Unit (BRU) and experts in the Health E-Learning and Media (HELM) team at The University of Nottingham in response to concerns that many hearing aid users discard the device within the first few weeks due to difficulties.Further project information
In February of 2016 the Health E-Learning and Media Team launched its first MOOC, "Designing E-Learning for Health", which was a free 5 week course presented within the FutureLearn platform introducing over 6000 learners to HELM's tried and tested e-learning resource design methodology.
