The aim of the Ongoing Skin Trials Register was to inform everyone of all randomised controlled THERAPEUTIC skin trials. This searchable database conforms to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors guidelines (De Angelis et al. NEJM 2004;351:1250-1).

Since the Ongoing Skin Trials Register was created, other trials registers have developed and there are now several larger registries available including the Australian and New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR), a Primary Register of the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform available at www.anzctr.org.au The Cochrane Skin Group have reached agreement with the ANZCTR to transfer trials within our register to theirs in the interests of reaching a wider audience.

We no longer accept registrations for trials for the Ongoing Skin Trials Register and would advise investigators with skin related trials to register with ANZCTR.

A small number of unpublished trials remain searchable within our database. Use the browse or search facilities to access them.
