Biology (Academic Press) has >5000 entries and cross-references.
- American
Association of University Presses Book database, searchable by
jughead (title & author) [yes, jughead is the name of a search program]
or by WAIS (full text). For pathology books try the search strategy:

- Book Stacks Unlimited
has book reviews & previews, lists of books available, telnet book ordering, extensive collection of publisher's WWW
pages.
- BioMedNet is a commercial site
with online references- charges for full texts, discounts if you have
hard copy subscriptions to the journals or if your library has an
institutional membership (U. of Rochester does.) Has
job listings too. Joining is free but requires setting up an account
including credit card info.
- Virus
Database, Computer Incident Advisory Capability (CIAC), DOE has a
long list of viruses for all platforms, links to other virus databases,
and link to virus
hoax page.
- Clinical Lab Handbook, U of
VA A to Z list of tests used in the clinical laboratory and
pathology. Includes laboratory value interpretation and collection
instructions. University of Virginia Clinical Laboratories.
- CMEA- Continuing Medical Education
Associates Health sciences multimedia- CD roms including several in
pathology
- Computer
Currents On-Line Dictionary Searchable dictionary of acronyms and
jargon.
- EINet Galaxy has
links to some common reference books, dictionaries, links to a large
number of searchable indexes, ability to seach EINet databases
- Electronic
Reference Works, U Chicago Gopher has a nice collection of
reference works, gov't docs, searchable

- EndNote styles for Various Biology
Journals Useful if you use the EndNote bibliography management

has on-line access to reference librarians as well as on-line texts and
