• Pathology sources from "TripleG" Triple G company (computing systems for pathology), lots of Australian, US & european sources

• Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry HazDat toxic substances database searchable, public health statements searchable, "Science Corner" has huge number of links to related servers

• VIRTUAL MEDICAL CENTER Pointers to thousands of Multimedia Medical Teaching Files/Manuals/Modules, Multimedia Medical Cases, and continuing Medical Education Courses.

• Medical Matrix- Database of Medical Resources on the Internet Very complete listing, text mirrored in U Mich Gopher and it contains a separate pathology listing. You can join an email discussion of the American Medical Informatics Association Internet Working group by sending email to LISTPROC@kumchttp.mc.ukans .edu with the message SUBSCRIBE MMATRIX-L YOUR-NAME

• Argus Clearinghouse of Health and Medicine Resource Guides Searchable, has Matrix & Hancock's guides (see above), Neuroscience guide, Usenet guide, many other subjects. Much still available by gopher.

• The World-Wide Web Virtual Library: Biosciences (Harvard) A popular listing, organized by institution, by subject within institution, separate sublist available for Medicine.

• List of All Listservs Mailing list discussion groups by category and by name, Info on buying "InfoMagnet" a Listserv tool, a list of medical lists.

• Searchable List of Listserv Lists Another listing of mailing list discussion groups, several relevant to Path, somewhat easier to search, with limited instructions. It helps to know that to subscribe to ANY Listserv list, all you need to do is send the message SUBSCRIBE LISTNAME YOUR-NAME to listserv@listserv.net and your message will be routed to the proper listserver.

• Lycos Catolog of the Internet has about two million URLs cataloged with some abstract information about each. A sample search for the key word "pathology", http://query2.lycos.cs.cmu.edu/cgi- bin/pursuit?query=pathology&maxhits=2000 got over 1800 hits, though some were departments of plant pathology, and many departments had multiple hits for multiple sub- pages.
