International Workshop on Dementia with Lewy Bodies
The first International Workshop on Dementia with Lewy Bodies was held in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK in October 1995. The group met to discuss three important areas related to dementia with Lewy bodies

  • Pathological diagnostic criteria
  • Clinical diagnostic criteria
  • Opportunities for therapy

Several areas of consensus were reached and the conclusions of the workshop were published

The Second International Workshop on Dementia with Lewy Bodies was held in Amsterdam 18-23 July 1998 as part of the 6th International Conference on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders. The DLB workshop was organised by Ian McKeith, Robert Perry and Elaine Perry
