How will you make your first million?

Members of the Drug Delivery and Tissue Engineering (DDTE) and Laboratory of Biophysics and Surface Analysis (LBSA) Divisions of the School of Pharmacy were given the opportunity to explore their business acumen in a Dragon's Den style competition, 'How Will You Make Your First Million?' Competing businesses presented a fifteen minute pitch on their hypothetical  product idea, with the necessary financial planning for a successful business, to gain an investment from the Dragons. After the pitch came the tough, probing questions from gurus in the pharmaceutical industry - Dr Andy Lewis and Dr Ian Wilding. Novalution, who are Arrandeep Basra, Asha Patel, Delyan Ivanov, Gabrielle Milson, Moamen Hammad, and Yewande Oni, were adjudged the winners with their novel modified release formulation for the ear.
