The School’s research in pharmaceutical science and pharmacy practice has specific impacts on society in terms of commercialisation, government policy and public education.
Queen's Award for Enterprise
Our successful track record in transferring technologies to the marketplace has been recognised with the UK's most prestigious corporate accolade, The Queen's Award for Enterprise in the category of Innovation in 2007.
Our successful spin-out company, Molecular Profiles Ltd (now Juniper Pharma Services Ltd), was awarded a separate Queens Award for Enterprise in 2007, and a second award in 2011 (both in the category of Innovation).
The international quality of our academics and researchers has also been recognized by a number of prestigious personal fellowships and awards, currently including:
