First Prize for Presentation at HSRPP Conference

Asam Latif collecting the first prize for the best oral presentation from Professor David Wright and Dr Stephen Byrne.

Asam Latif, PhD student at University of Nottingham, Division of Social Research in Medicines and Health, was awarded first prize for the best oral presentation titled “Reasons involved in selecting patients for a Medicine Use Review (MUR): exploring pharmacist and staff choices” at the recent Health Services Research and Pharmacy Practice (HSRPP) conference. HSRPP is the UK’s foremost pharmacy practice conference, and was hosted by the University of East Anglia over the 5th-6th May 2011. The conference attracted more than 120 delegates with some coming from as far afield as Australia, China and Canada.
