Conference Venue
The Ethics and Explanation Conference will be held in the Machiado Suite, Willoughby Hall, University Park, University of Nottingham. Willoughby Hall is located close to the West Entrance to University Park, just a short distance from Beeston.
The conference will start 11am Friday 18 November, and close 3.30pm Saturday 19 November. The registration fee includes lunch and refreshments.
Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is by your own arrangement. However, we do offer a hotel reservation service for the majority of hotels in Nottingham and can advise you on the standard and quality of accommodation to suit your needs.
A small number of rooms are on hold at the Rutland Square Hotel for 18 and 19 November. The rate is £67 per single room, including breakfast. Reservations need to be made and paid in full by 20 October to secure this rate.

Directions to and from University Park Campus
Between campuses
The University Operates a Free Hopper Bus Service between Jubilee Campus, University Park and Sutton Bonington Campus. You can view the Hopper Bus timetable online. They are also available on the buses.
All our campuses have cycle parking facilities and those within the City have links to numerous cycle paths.

By taxi:
There are taxi ranks throughout the City Centre and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes about 15 minutes.
From Beeston (approximately 1.5 mile)
The Trent Barton Indigo service runs from Beeston Bus Station (about 10 minutes walk from the railway station along Station Road) past the South and North entrances to the University, as well as passing QMC. Nottingham City Transport service 13 has a stop in Queen's Road, about 5 minutes walk from the Beeston railway station, turning right out of Station Road.
From East Midlands Airport (approximately 10 miles)
From East Midlands Airport you can take the Skylink bus or the Indigo service run by Trent Barton. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall.
You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.
From M1 Motorway:
By car:
Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Turn right at The Priory roundabout (about 4 miles from M1), then left at next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance.
Car Parking on campus:
Visitors to the University will be required to use the pay and display facilities.
Parking charges for 2011/12 will be £7 per day, £4 for up to 4 hours, £2 for up to 2 hours and 30 minutes free. Restrictions will apply in some locations.
