How to Apply

Applicants wishing to apply for a research degree should send:

• a completed application form together with the required documentation (including 2 academic references)
• a supporting statement
• a 2,000 word project proposal

Application for our postgraduate programmes can be made either:

• by using the online application procedure (we recommend this option, as you can then track the progress of your application online)
• or in hardcopy

Full details of the postgraduate application procedures can be found on the postgraduate study pages. Guidance to writing a research proposal (PDF) and an example of a model PhD research proposal (PDF) are given to assist you with the process and to illustrate what is required.

Entry Qualifications / Requirements

Applicants for Research programmes would normally be expected to have graduated or be about to graduate from Masters degree in a relevant subject, with an average of over 60% (or its equivalent).

Fees

Tuition fees are adjusted annually and are set for each individual degree.
