Students who wish to go abroad using the Erasmus scheme can go to the following Universities: Prague, Konstanz, Bordeaux, Paris, Toulouse, Linkoping, Lisbon, Duesseldorf, Vienna, Strasbourg, Warsaw, Istanbul and Burgos.
The period of study spent at the U21//University-wide programme or Erasmus partner university will replace one semester / one academic year of the Nottingham degree.
For the list of courses, please visit these Universities’ websites. Students are responsible for verifying the modules they are likely to follow during their time abroad.
As a general rule, students are expected to follow a minimum of four modules per term. These modules must be at least at the second year level of our partner institution.
10 ECTS credits = 20 Nottingham credits
Students therefore have to choose 30 ECTS credits when you go abroad for one semester.
Applicants must therefore ensure that compatible modules are offered at the host university. Where possible, students should choose modules which are similar to the modules you would have followed at the University of Nottingham. Students also have to try to pick modules which cover topics of International Relations, Comparative Politics and Political Theory.
