Jing Cheng is a doctoral researcher in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham and a member of the Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies (IAPS). Her research focuses on the rise of Chinese nationalism on the Internet as well as the changing power dynamics in contemporary state-society relationship in China. She holds a BA in English (Xi'an International Studies University) and MA in International Relations (University of Nottingham). Her research is funded by the IAPS Tomlinson Award.
