The Identity of Rising China and India- Peace or Threat
In the turn of the twentieth century, China and India have become two spectacular rising powers in Asia. Under the tides of the regionalization and liberalization, both two countries had no choice but propelled themselves both in cooperation and competition over such fields.
My study aims to provide a systematic analysis of bilaterally strategic relations within broader and changing context that the two Asian major rivals since 1990, and addresses the research issues as follows:
How and to what extent could the two countries to shelve the territorial dispute and Tibet issues to improve the dialogue and diplomacy? What are the factors that could influence patterns of competitive and cooperation between Beijing and New Delhi? What are the variables will affect the international system into a peaceful and stable security system or another kind of hegemonic threat and confrontations.
