Research Projects

 Library

Research in the School is principally organised around our Centres and Institutes.  These help staff and students address some of the key political issues of the day, such as globalisation, human rights violations, corruption, the crisis of representation, terrorism, the causes of war and which values should underpin government.

They also organise visiting speakers, conferences, student symposia, and generally serve to bring together researchers with common interests to ensure that a vibrant and engaging research culture exists within the School.

Below are some of the areas of research in which our Centres and Institutes currently specialise and in relation to which they can offer expert teaching and supervision. If you would like more information about these areas and the staff interested in them please click on the links.  Should you require further information please contact the relevant Centre or Institute Director or individual member of staff.
