The PPRG has obtained funding for two large-scale collaborative public procurement research projects. The first of these, known as the "EU-Asia Link" project, aimed at developing a global academic research and teaching network in the area of public procurement regulation. The second, known as the "Africa" partnership, is research and capacity-building project on public procurement in Africa.
As part of the EU-Asia Link project, the PPRG was also responsible for operating two projects of use to anyone with an interest in public procurement law and regulation.
The first of these was the introductory bibliography on public procurement, composed of 3 short bibliographies covering EU procurement, WTO procurement and General Issues in Public Procurement. These were followed by a comprehensive general bibliography. (link to bibliographies)
The second was the Procurement Law Academic Network (PLAN) website: a permanent global network of academics (professors, researchers etc) interested in public procurement law and regulatory policy.
