This module will introduce: the structure and functioning of the brain; the neuroscientific basis of cognition, perception and emotion; and evolutionary and genetic approaches to psychology.

A copy of The Physiology of Behaviour , by N.R. Carlson will be useful for this modules, for C82NAB and, perhaps useful for some Year 3 modules. If you buy a book for this module, it's probably the best all round choice.
