Each year we invite 4-11-year-olds and their families to spend half a day with our staff and students as part of Summer Scientist Week
(or now Spring Scientist Week
), our unique activity scheme. Through fun games and demonstrations, children (and parents!) get to learn about how the mind and brain work and experience real science first-hand.
You can find representatives from the School of Psychology at local and national science fairs, including
the Manchester Science Festival and the British Science Festival.
We are also a regular feature at the University’s Community Open Day, held in May each year.
